protecting your energy
Here are a few tricks to help protect you:
Take a moment before walking out of your comfort zone or home (or answer a phone call or text or before driving), with awareness take 3 slow breaths, with every inhale feel your energy expand beyond your body. With every exhale feel yourself settle and ground more and more. Feel a strong light/energy line from your heart through your feet connecting with the center of the earth. Stand strong. Make a conscious decision to bring your energy to wherever you’re “going” and have everyone around you be affected by your peaceful energy instead of absorbing theirs
Whenever a lower vibrating energy causes a reaction within you (such as someone yelling at you), remember that it is not always yours to respond to. They are showing you their emotions. If you felt triggered, like most people would, feel the emotion and shake if you need to. The trick is to completely feel the emotions without judging it and in simple words allow it to move through your body. Notice where it enters and exits and how it dissipates once it’s done. This takes practice. It’s not easy but with practice it does get easier.
Remember: You are the most important person in your life. Always take care of You first and the rest will fall into place.
